  Reproductive health

Immagine

The field of reproductive health is rather different from other fields of health care. Human reproduction has a strategic role for the society survival, so no society, no religion, no culture, no system of law has been and is neutral about issues of human reproduction.  Inputs from policy makers, legislators, lawyers, women' group, health care providers, Churches, etc. are significatively higher than other health fields (the same is for sexology).  So each input comes from a different point of view and this often makes difficult to facilitate collaboration for actions. Last but not least, reproductive and sexual health are often identified and put together even if they are not the same discipline and in many situations neither the same professionals or care providers work together
